| Hello all!
I am a proud new mama of miss Lucy. You can see her picture in the blog below. She is PRECIOUS! she is a liver and white english springer spaniel. she will be 10 weeks old tomorrow. she was born the wednesday after our wedding---also my sister and my friend jayna's birthdays. we went to the vet today because she has irritated eyes, ear infections and fleas. hopefully she will be all better now! i love my lucy... :)

| so, its been quite a while since i've posted. i am now married. its wonderful! check out our pictures: www.goodlightphotography.com/kimbjoelwedding . they're fun. i am walking in the Y-ME's Walk to Empower again this mother's day to help raise money for breast cancer support. i am going to graduate from HBU in approximately 16 days. :) i might become a "mommy" to a puppy soon. :D here is her picture--i REALLY want her!!!!!!!! we'll see what happens. isn't she adorable?! i am procrastinating from finishing my paper on "bacterial symbiosis and paratransgenic control of vector-bourne Chagas disease".... exactly.

| i am officially now an aunt!!!!!!!!! yay! david john farley
was born "tomorrow" morning at 2 something. (they live in
australia) so his birthday is october 8, but it was october 7th here
when he was born. confusing, i know. anyway, he was a large
baby--9 pounds and 5 oz! i will post pictures when they come.
joel and i have signed a contract for our house. its in richmond,
and it is very nice. we are excited. i think we will close
on it in january when it is finished being built.

| well hello everyone (not that many people even read this, but hey). my life has had some interesting events take place in the past few weeks. i REALLY miss science classes because i am in reading/writing classes right now and they are horrible. well i like chronicles of narnia. but in all reality, how interesting/fun do "technical writing" and "senior seminar: research in kinesiology" sound? i guess in a few months i will be regretting that i missed science...
anyway, my nephew is going to be a week late tomorrow if he doesn't hurry up and arrive. we are all awaiting his arrival! i'm so excited! i get to go see him (in AUSTRALIA!!!!!!) in about 6 weeks!!!!!! hooray.
joel and i took our engagement photos this past thursday, and i'm SO excited to see how they turned out. i'll post the slide show when i get it. YAY!!!!! being engaged is fun.
joel and i are also looking at houses for when we are married bc the market is soooo dang amazing for buyers right now. we are trying to be patient b/c its projected that the market is going to get even worse for the sellers in the next few months. hooray for homes!
and drumroll please... on august 25, 2008, i will be attending my first day of classes at Texas Woman's University's School of Physical Therapy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hooray! i got in! praise the Lord! it is/was all His strength and smarts and definitely not mine! God is so amazing to have blessed me in this way. He has blessed me with an amazing family, a future career in something that i absolutely love and have a passion for, and the possibility of getting a new home soon.
**Lord, may i praise you for all that you have blessed me with. may you receive all the glory. Thank You for all you have given me. may i praise you even in the storms of life when they come because they will only make me stronger and give me stronger faith in Your Name! You alone are truly awesome. Amen**
